Hi everyone!

In my last blog I talked about events in Lake Havasu City for the weekend of November 23rd. It included the lighting of the English Village, the swim race across the Bridgewater Channel, the opening of the ice skating rink, and the upcoming Boat Parade of Lights. The Boat Parade of Lights is this weekend. It is on this Friday, November 30th, and Saturday December 1st from 6:30-9:00 p.m. The parade includes many local businesses and members of our community.  It can be viewed from many locations along the English Village. You can go on the island side of the channel along the beaches and in the English Village along the Bridgewater Channel. You can also go to different beaches on the mainland side of the bridge. Or if you want to enjoy the parade from inside and have a meal while doing so, you can dine in one of the local Restaurants. Some of these include Barley Brother's, Shugrue's, and Papa Leone's.

The Ice skating rink is now open and under full swing. It is expected to be open until January 6th. Ticket prices and specific hours can be found on their site.  It is such a fun and affordable activity to do. You can bring your family, go with your spouse, or your friends. No matter who you go with, it will be so fun.

Grace Arts Live, a local theater in town will be presenting Little Women, a musical, for the next three weekends. Shows on Friday and Saturday nights are at 7:30 p.m. and shows on Sundays are at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices can be found on their website. There are still quite a few tickets left on the Friday and Saturday shows, and some left on the Sundays but those are filling up so if you want to go to a Sunday show, make sure to buy your tickets online to guarantee you a seat. You can also purchase tickets from the box office on the day of shows and at other hours which can be found on their site also.

If you are an active person or have always wanted to do a 5k, there is one this weekend! It is the Jingle Bell Walk and Fun Run. it is On Saturday morning, December 1st, from 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.To participate, it is $10 per person or $25 for families of 3 or more. You can find more information and register on their website.

This Sunday, December 2nd is the Annual Home and Garden Tour which is put on by Soroptimist. It is from 12:00-4:00 p.m. You can tour 5 different  homes in the area. Also, if you are looking to buy a house, be sure to scroll to the bottom of this to see some houses that we are selling. You can find some more information and contact information for the person in charge of the event on their site.

These are only a few events of the MANY that are coming up this winter in Lake Havasu City. You can find more information about all of these events and many other events at  I'm so excited for this winter and so many of these events and I hope that you are too!
