It Is All About The Outlook

This morning as I was getting ready, the dog decided he would open the back door and let the world know I was straight from the shower preparing my bagel in the kitchen. Lucky neighbors!

Then some obvious road rage on the trip to work since everyone is trying to leave the house at 10 to 8.

I get to work and think my luck is turning around when a coworker offers to swing by McDonalds, some junk food. YAY!

While eating my hashbrown patty, I drip ketchup down my dress. Go figure!

After asking the entire office if anyone had a tide pen or anything to save my dress, I took the trip to the restroom with a wet paper towel, working it out.

Walking out from the bathroom, the vending machine is being filled and a soda topples from the hands of the employee.

Upon hitting the ground, the Pepsi sprayed up my leg and down my already-stained ketchup dress.

It was time to go home. Time to restart the day and try to get it off to a better start.

After getting cleaned up and mentally prepping myself to return to the office, I am scrolling through Facebook. SHH.

My life is amazing. I am grateful for everything that I have. I am healthy. I am not homeless. I have caring people in my life.

I am not living in Japan where Typhoon Jebi is destroying everything in its path. I am not in Phoenix where it would take 2 hours to get across town to change clothes.

I live in this beautiful city, surrounded by wonderful people, and I have nothing to complain about.

Today is a great day.
