Our teachers are some of the most important people in our life and I'm sure everyone has at least one teacher that they would want to thank. Here is what Havasu is doing to appreciate their teachers.

Students at Lake Havasu High school wore red to support teachers in their recent efforts in the Red for Ed movement. Students paid $1 to wear red and all the proceeds went to the Educators Rising club which trains students to become teachers. Students also showed their support by making candy cups with notes attached to them showing their appreciation.

These are just a few things happening this week but everyone can participate and give back to the teachers that have given so much to us. Go out there and thank some of your teachers with kind words and gifts!
